The Controls Electronics Team is responsible for converting high voltage to low voltage, distributing that power throughout the aircraft, providing instrumentation and monitoring, and designing all electrical wiring and interconnect systems. The team also develops custom sensor systems and research and development hardware.

As a mechanical engineer on this team, you will help design, produce, and certify the hardware that powers and monitors critical functions across the aircraft. These designs must perform reliably in demanding environments including high vibration, wide temperature ranges, and electrically noisy conditions. You will also create equipment used for production testing, engineering validation, and formal certification testing.
