Home Equity Loan Officer – South Burlington, VT

We are recruiting for a Home Equity Loan Officer out of our South Burlington location.

Hourly Rate
: $25.42 - $38.13

Job Description

• Ability to understand member needs and match the appropriate loan program that will best serve the member.
• Analyze the current financial position of members and present them with additional cross‑serve opportunities to benefit their financial position.
• Recommend loan decisions to underwriting by determining the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Follows current loans to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections when appropriate.
• Establishes the terms and conditions of an approved loan and reviews them with the member.
• Delivering outstanding service that is in alignment with the Credit Union’s Core Values.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
