Resident Care Associate shall provide for the needs of the elders, including personal care, therapeutic programming, safety and emotional support in a manner that supports the dignity, independence, choice and individuality of each resident. The duties of Resident Care Associate include delivery of services as written on the approved service plan for each Resident.

- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to use a computer for documenting services provided; fluent in oral and written English communication.
- Education: Must have completed the course for certified nursing assistant or possess equivalent training or experience as required by State Regulation, and hold CPR and First Aid training as mandated by the state.
- Experience: Preferred experience providing direct care or equivalent training; preference for experience caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
- Certificates/Licenses: Current license/certification as required by State Regulation; provide copies of documentation to the Resident Care Director or designee.

Skills:
Demonstrates computer literacy and familiarity with office software, including but not limited to word processing; ability to learn data input.
