JOB DESCRIPTION S
The goal of the University of Vermont Health Network Medical Group (UVMHN MG) is to achieve integrated clinical delivery for our patients and referring providers with a strong focus on timely access and efficient processes in alignment with established policies, procedures, and industry best practice. The UVMHN MG Director of Access Operations plans, develops, facilitates, and coordinates patient and referring provider access operational functions across the UVMHN Medical Group.
In conjunction with UVMHN Medical Group Leadership, the Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality performance standards for all facets of ambulatory patient access (inclusive of appointment and telephone access) at the University of Vermont Health Network. They are accountable for the fiscal performance of the Patient Access and Service Center including developing and operating within the annual budget guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health or related field required. A Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCEMust have a minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a health care management setting. Ideal candidate has leadership experience in a multiple hospital network setting.
