Job Description
This role supports the Burlington Air National Guard in South Burlington, Vermont. The Administrator will work on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Mission Planning Environment (MPE) as a Multi-Function Information Systems Analyst, cross‑training across database, network, systems, and security.
Responsibilities- Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
- Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account security and monitoring
- Coordinate with Tier‑2 and engineers to ensure smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems
- Refresh laptops, troubleshoot, and maintain accounts
- Monitor systems and applications for availability and performance
- Train ALIS Administrators or Mission Planning Environment Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed
- Perform COMSEC CRO duties, adhere to requirements, and train others in COMSEC
- Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and resolve system shortfalls
- Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years
- DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
- IT experience in system/database/network/mission planning administration
- Operational support role to an active fighter unit, available for deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, rotating shifts, and over 40 hours per week (including weekends) as required by mission
- Real compliance for state‑issued driver’s licenses and identification cards
- Valid passport required for expatriate positions
- Application troubleshooting
- Active Directory/Oracle/CRM account maintenance
- Disaster recovery: physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment backups and restores
- Virtual machine management (Hyper‑V / VMware)
- Hardware maintenance, upgrade, and rack component startup/shutdown
- Anti‑virus, anti‑spyware, and patch updates
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration
- Large data volume import/export
- Lockheed Martin product and process familiarity, including JSF ALIS hardware and software
- Experience supporting the U.S. military/foreign military
- U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance
- COMSEC experience
- Military flight operations and planning processes
- Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience
- Mission Planning Systems Support Representative (SSR) experience
- Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience
Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years; U.S. citizenship required.
