Senior Buyer - Tooling and Capital Equipment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to support procurement and contract fulfillment for Capital Equipment and Tooling. You will be responsible for sourcing and order fulfillment, managing supplier accounts to ensure timely delivery, and overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance of your equipment portfolio. You will build and maintain relationships with supplier partners, the engineering team, and internal stakeholders within BETA.

A successful candidate will be a team player who can multitask and manage competing priorities.

• Participate in the generation of Statements of Work (SoW)
• Lead the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages
• Lead the source selection process
• Prepare purchase orders or bid requests; enter data for all purchase orders
• Implement cost savings initiatives, drive on-time delivery and quality of product metrics
• Manage supplier performance throughout the contract lifecycle
• Act as commercial authority on behalf of the company, signing agreements as delegated
• Prepare formal communication to supply chain leads
• Serve as liaison between internal and external stakeholders
• Schedule and lead Program Review Meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience
• 5–7 years of procurement experience managing high-dollar projects or complex aerospace programs
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Plex, Oracle, SAP, or Epicor) or equivalent
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in preparing presentation materials and data sets
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau) and collaboration platforms
• Passion for safety through quality in design, software development, and manufacturing

• PMP certification or other project management experience
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace certification requirements

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
