Overview
This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse (Med Surg) in South Burlington, Vermont, United States. Start date is 08/10/2026 for a 13‑week assignment, with a 3x12‑hour Night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,320 to $2,349, and there are no guaranteed hours. This position is hospital‑based, focused on acute care/medical‑surgical inpatient nursing.

Hospital‑based Acute Care/Med‑Surg unit - Compliance window:
All required credentials and documentation must be completed at least two weeks prior to start
- Deliver direct bedside nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients, including ongoing assessment, care planning, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and manage IV therapies and routine diagnostic tests.
- Document care in the Epic EMR with accurate, timely charting and communication of changes in patient status.
- Monitor and respond to clinical changes, provide bedside procedures as ordered, and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Provide geriatric‑focused care, with emphasis on safety, fall prevention, mobility support, and family communication.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and other disciplines to ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and smooth care transitions.
- Active RN license (Oregon) or equivalent; current licensure must be held to practice.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care/Med‑Surg nursing experience.
- Current travel nursing experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications required.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Ortho experience strongly preferred; geriatric patient care experience beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hospital Med/Surg setting and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
