Goodwill is looking for friendly, outgoing people to join our growing team in either our Williston or South Burlington Vermont Stores. If you love providing great customer experience, Goodwill is the place for you!

South Burlington OR Williston VT

$15.25 - $17.00 (Depending on experience)

• Greet donors, accept and sort donations, and then transfer donations to the pricing team.
• Make quick decisions and politely explain items that cannot be accepted.

• Sort, inspect, and price donations before they are sent to the sales floor.
• Work with physical tasks and learn the value of clothing, housewares, or electronics.

• Greet customers and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Responsibilities include running the register, stocking the sales floor, pulling older merchandise, attending fitting rooms, and setting a friendly atmosphere for customers and co‑workers.

• Positive Attitude:
  Display a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Basic Math and Literacy
  
  Skills:
  
  Handle transactions and support job duties.
• Flexibility:
  Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. All associates must work at least one Saturday or Sunday every weekend.
• Background Check:
  Pass a criminal background check meeting agency standards.
• Physical Abilities:
  Exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

• Retail Experience or Certification:
  Prior retail experience or relevant certification.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent educational background.
