The Supervisor/Manager Part Time role at Claire’s in Albany, NY is an on-site position responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering outstanding customer service. In this part-time role, the supervisor/manager helps lead the sales floor, coaches team members, and ensures that merchandising, visual standards, and store presentation are consistently maintained. Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers, overseeing ear piercing services according to company guidelines, managing cash handling procedures, and monitoring inventory levels.

The role also supports scheduling needs, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for customers and team members. This position works closely with store leadership to drive sales, uphold brand standards, and create memorable experiences for all guests.

• Retail leadership and supervision skills, including experience overseeing teams, delegating tasks, and supporting performance on the sales floor.
• Customer service and sales abilities, with a focus on building rapport, understanding customer needs, and promoting products and services, including ear piercing.
• Store operations skills such as cash handling, inventory awareness, adherence to policies, and support with opening and closing procedures.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, engage diverse customers, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health, safety, and ear piercing protocols and guidelines.
• Experience in retail, fashion, accessories, or youth-focused environments is beneficial.
• Basic math and computer skills; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
