Transportation Monitor
To assist in providing safe transportation of assigned students to and from designated locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and/or
Experience:
High school graduate or a General Education Diploma (GED) is required. Two or more years' experience working with school aged children is desired. An Associate's degree in childcare or related field may be substituted for actual work experience at the discretion of the supervisor.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Certificates:
Current Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI);
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), and First Aid Certification is required.
Other
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a friendly manner with co-workers and students. Ability to physically manage students and equipment. Ability to observe unusual student behavior and advise the Supervisor. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all District requirements and School Board policies as it relates to the job responsibilities is essential.
