Job Title: Accounting Operations Associate
Division: Infrastructure
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time;
May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training
Hiring Range: $40,000 - $46,000 annual salary (commensurate with directly applicable experience)

Our Business Operations Team works to support all facets of The Cason Group business operations with various projects, reporting, data-entry, and management of data systems. As an Accounting Operations Associate, you will assist the team with data entry, expense processing, and bookkeeping for the company.
What Our Business Associates Do- Financial Operations and Transaction Processing:
Process vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and credit card transactions through Ramp, Paylocity, and other appropriate software ensuring transactions follow established guidelines; prepare regular and ad hoc reports as requested - Data Quality and System Integrity:
Ensure all transactions are complete, accurate, and properly supported; identify and flag missing information, inconsistencies, and/or unusual activity - Vendor and Payment Support:
Assist with vendor setup and upkeep ensuring vendor records are accurate and complete - Support Baseline Operations:
Respond to inquiries related to expenses and reimbursements; coordinate with the accounting team to resolve issues and improve processes; maintain strict confidentiality
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; proficiency with Excel is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to meet deadlines while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
