Role OverviewAs an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, you will support a diverse client portfolio, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across multiple industries. This role offers a balanced mix of accounts, audit, and tax work, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment. Whether you have prior audit experience or a strong interest in audit, this role offers genuine scope for career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Assist audit seniors and managers on audit engagements
- Perform audit testing at client premises and attend stocktakes
- Support the planning and completion of audits
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
- Review client VAT returns and assist with bookkeeping
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience assisting on audit assignments, or a keen interest in developing audit skills
