Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

The Controller oversees all daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains strong internal controls. This role requires solid communication, analytical, technology, and management skills, along with strong knowledge of GAAP and at least seven years of accounting experience
.

• General Ledger Oversight — Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and overall GL accuracy.
• Accounting Operations — Lead daily accounting activities, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Financial Reporting — Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budget Management — Coordinate and manage annual budgeting.
• Accounts Receivable — Oversee billing, AR aging, and cash receipts.
• Accounts Payable — Review and approve invoices and payments.
• Purchasing — Review and approve purchase orders.
• System Support — Serve as liaison for SAGE Accounting Software.
• Tax & Audit Support — Assist with tax filings and coordinate external audits.
• Financial Analysis — Monitor performance metrics and analyze operating reports.
• Team Management — Support hiring, training, and development of accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency with accounting systems (SAGE preferred)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
