Position OverviewThe Financial Controller will oversee key accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and compliance activities for the U.S. operation. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, leading month-end close activities, supporting audit and tax requirements, and providing financial insights that support strategic business decisions.

- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and account reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and accruals
- Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
- Support federal, state, and local tax compliance activities
- Manage treasury operations, including cash forecasting and banking activities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Candidate must be at commuting distance from Columbia, SC
- 7 years of accounting experience (i.e., general ledger, tax, treasury, cash)
- CPA required
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management skills
- Solid GAAP knowledge and understanding of relevant tax regulations
- SAP experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- Analytical mindset - comfortable turning financial data and KPIs into decision-support insights
- Clear communicator, able to explain financial info to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
