Tax Accountant

We are partnering with a top-ranked law firm seeking a Tax Accountant to join its internal accounting team in Columbia, South Carolina.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings
• Support tax compliance and reporting across multiple entities
• Manage recurring areas including state tax credits, property tax, and fixed assets
• Assist with audits, regulatory inquiries, and tax planning initiatives
• Partner cross-functionally to gather and validate financial information
• Identify process improvements and maintain organized documentation

• 3+ years of tax accounting experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax concepts
• Analytical mindset with strong organization and communication skills
