Job Cost Accountanttojoinouraccountingteam .Thisroleisresponsibleformaintainingaccuratejobcoststructures,budgets,andreportingacrossactiveconstruction/project work,ensuringcostsareproperlycoded,reconciled,andreportedtosupportprojectmanagersandcompanyleadershipintrackingjobperformance.

• Setupjobs,phaseandcostcodestructures,andoriginalbudgetsinthejobcostsystem.
• Enterchangeordersandbudgetrevisions.
• Codeandpostequipmenthours,materials,subcontractor invoices,trucking,andfueltothecorrectjobandcostcode.
• Allocateandreconcileinternalequipmentusageandthird-partyrentalcharges.
• AssistwithmonthlyWIPschedules-cost-to-complete,percentcomplete,over/under billings.
• Supportprogressbilling,pay applications,lien waivers,andretainagetracking.
• Reconcilejobcostsubledgertothegeneralledger.
• Assistwithmonth-endclose,year-endclose,andauditrequests.
• Maintainsubcontractorandvendorcompliancerecords-W-9s,certificatesofinsurance,1099s.
• Runjobmargin,unitcost,andproductivityreports;flagjobstrendingoverbudget.
• Assist Project Managersonprojectperformance &analysis

• Associate'sor Bachelor'sdegreein
  
  Accounting,Finance,orrelatedfieldpreferred
• Experiencewithjobcostaccounting,preferablyinconstruction,engineering,orarelatedproject-based industry
• Familiaritywithjobcost/ERPsystems
• StrongunderstandingofWIPschedules,percent-of-completion accounting,andprogressbilling
• Proficiency in Excel;stronganalyticalandreconciliationskills
• Highattentiontodetailandabilitytomanagemultiplejobcostcodesanddeadlines
• Strongcommunicationskillstocollaborateeffectivelywith Project Managersandvendors
