Job Duties:- The ES Eligibility Specialist under general supervision, responsible for accurate and timely processing of incoming annual and semi-annual recertifications arriving statewide for the State Office SNAP Scanning Center. Also responsible for accurately and effectively transferring annual and semi-annual recertifications into the agency's statewide scanning system.
- Responsible for sorting and routing incoming annual and semi-annual re-certifications and appropriate documentation.
- Mail processing to include stamping and re‑routing mail received in error back to the county or origin or the customer.
- Ensure the proper registering, scanning and assigning of documents entering the Scan Center daily. Paper documentation will be processed and reviewed for overall image quality and accuracy. Paper documents will be scanned into the statewide scanning system and assigned to the appropriate folder indicating county/worker assignment.
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of scanning equipment.
- To ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- A High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.
- An Associate Degree and one (1) year experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
