Job Summary
Process Assistant II

Under immediate supervision, this role performs a variety of routine clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of business process. Work requires knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the processing of information, documents or materials to include: setting up comprehensive records and files, preparing standard reports and charts, compiling data from various sources and forms, contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies, performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc.

Makes minor corrections, codes items, maintains record of documents processed. Informs departments of missing or incorrect data. Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Performs basic clerical duties that are highly structured according to established procedures. This job is level II or the intermediate level in a three level Process Assistant series.

Process Assistant III

Under general supervision, this role performs a full range of moderately complex clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of a business process. Performs comprehensive reporting and diverse clerical functions by applying overall knowledge of sources requiring and understanding of interrelationship of report components and use of data or methods that are varied and somewhat complex.

Work requires analysis, judgment and detailed knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the specialized processing of information, documents or materials to include: selecting and compiling data; performing calculations to translate data and information into required results and investigating and providing routine explanations of variations from generally expected results.

Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record and enter, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the company. This job is level III or the senior level in a three level Process Assistant series.

Qualifications for Process Assistant III
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company and department procedures associated with business process or function.
  • Ability to prioritize work and exercise considerable discretion in performance of duties.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years general office experience.
  • Strong skills using spreadsheet, word processing and graphics applications and SAP.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.
  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Education Requirements

Required degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree):
High School Graduate, GED

Working Conditions

Travel Up to 25%
