Position: Program Assistant - 60013624
Location: Columbia

This position is located within the Procurement Services Division - Business Operation section.

We are seeking an accurate, efficient professional with strong organizational skills to assist with the vendor registration program and provide the highest administrative support to the Division of Procurement Services and its stakeholders.

Duties
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate vendor database. Respond to vendor registration inquiries via shared intake email and calls.
  • Serve as a backup to vendor registration coordinators, responsible for maintaining an accurate vendor database.
  • Handle general office tasks, such as filing, copying, and scanning.
  • Maintain appropriate supply inventory.
  • Assist in division website publishing/editing, and scanning (OnBase).
  • Other administrative duties in support of the Procurement Services division as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
