Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates the transportation arrangements for approximately 600 to 800 inmates on a monthly basis for court appearances.
- Communicates with various law enforcement agencies, attorneys, institutions, the Attorney General's Office, and other judicial personnel.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts and transportation issues between institutions and legal entities.
- Co‑ordinates with institutional operations staff to ensure that transports are carried out as mandated by the court.
- Make automated entries and maintain records regarding each transport.
- Serve as back‑up in the bedspace management section of Central Classification.
- Coordinate institutional transports as requested and in accordance with agency policy.
- Assist with other Central Classification duties as required.
- A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
- A bachelor's degree.
- An associate degree with two (2) years of combined administrative and/or correctional experience.
- A high school diploma with three (3) years of combined administrative and/or correctional experience.
