Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares letters, memorandums, other documents for the major administrative captain. Ensures that minor disciplinary hearing are entered within allotted time.
  • Ensures scheduling and preparation of appropriate paperwork for DHO process incoming mail, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintains and order supplies.
  • This position is under direct supervision of the Major and serves as backup to the DHO recorder in his/her absence.
  • Types various forms, correspondences and reports as needed.
  • Must be able to type 30wpm and skilled in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

    A high School diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.

    Minimum Requirements:

    A high school diploma and related clerical experience.
