Location: Columbia
- Provides administrative support to the division director and serves as office manager by overseeing daily office operations, handling correspondence, ordering supplies, and coordinating administrative activities.
- Serves as the division's HR and records management liaison by coordinating employee leave and benefits, maintaining personnel records, ensuring compliance with agency policies, and managing records for terminated employees and legal requests.
- Administers workers' compensation processes by maintaining case files and logs, reviewing claims for compliance with workers' compensation laws and agency policies, monitoring return-to-work status, generating injury correspondence, and completing required documentation, including form 20s.
- Assists employees and staff with workers' compensation by serving as a resource on procedures, supporting new employees, and acting as backup to the workers' compensation coordinator.
- Coordinates safety and compliance initiatives by training environmental health and safety officers (EHSOS) and institutional HR liaisons, maintaining current EHSO contact lists, and scheduling quarterly safety training.
- Manages the division budget and purchasing by monitoring available funds, consulting with program staff on budget matters, and processing purchase orders and procurement requests.
- Ensures compliance with agency, legal, and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records, responding to subpoenas and legal requests, and supporting the division's administrative and operational objectives.
- Resume preferred but not required.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
