We are seeking an
Administration Officer
to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid administration skills who is keen to learn, develop and build a career across accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, stock and freight administration.
With nearly
40 years’ experience supplying Australia’s infrastructure industries, our client is a trusted provider of specialised products and solutions across themining, civil, agriculture and aquaculture sectors. Recognised as a one-stop shop for industrial piping and valve solutions, they have built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and reliability.
Working closely with the Finance team, you will provide general administrative support while progressively learning a range of finance and operational processes.
General Administration- Provide administrative support to the Finance team
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain records
- Process price list information
- Prepare and file shipping documents, delivery notes and other paperwork
- Manage emails, filing and general correspondence
- Assist with other administrative duties as required
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Process invoices, credit notes, customer receipts and supplier payments
- Check pricing, part codes and invoices for accuracy
- Assist with supplier queries, discrepancies and reconciliations
- Process freight-related invoices and documentation
- Assist with supplier setup, expense claims and credit card reconciliations
- Support month-end processes and maintain accurate ERP records
We are looking for someone who is:
- Has previous administration experience and enjoys keeping things organised (previous accounts experience advantageous but not essential)
- Is reliable, detail-focused and takes pride in getting things right
- Is confident with data entry, numbers and computer systems
- Communicates naturally and enjoys building relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Can juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the details
- Is a proactive team player who is happy to pitch in and get things done
- Is curious, eager to learn and excited about developing a long-term career in finance
- Permanent, full-time position
offering long-term stability - 40-hour working week, with hours rostered between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm (2 hours of time off in lieu (TOIL) available each week)
