RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine vehicles to diagnose problems and determine repairs and maintenance needed
- Estimate time and cost of repairs
- Provide recommendations to service advisors regarding customer vehicles
- Communicate with Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
- Perform all repairs thoroughly and efficiently in accordance with company and factory standards
- Communicate with service advisors regarding the status of service work and the estimated time of completion so that customers can be informed
- Road test customer vehicles to ensure that repairs are completed satisfactorily and that problems are resolved the first time
- Ensure that customer vehicles are returned clean and undamaged
- Properly complete documentation of repair orders
- Strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain training required by manufacturer
- Stay abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Use of phones or earbuds is forbidden while working on vehicles!
- Comply with driving laws when operating company or customer vehicles
- Maintain an organized and safe bay that meets dealership, OSHA, and EPA standards
- Be able to account for dealership-owned tools and equipment always
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Manufacturer certification
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Must provide own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Background check
