Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices – Automotive Alignment Technician
We are looking for a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Summerville, SC area.
About the PositionAutomotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customers’ vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, they reduce tire wear and ensure that serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or equivalent education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Preferred: a state inspection license.
As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. They must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
