We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Advanced to support a major application migration and modernization initiative. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and supporting system changes as applications are transitioned from a legacy environment to a new platform.

This is a newly created position intended to support long‑term modernization efforts.

• Eligible for telecommuting up to 2 days per week after 3 months

• Must be a South Carolina resident
• No relocation allowed

• Elicit, analyze, and document business rules, processes, and system requirements
• Support government IT projects through business analysis and documentation
• Participate in system development life cycle (SDLC) activities
• Collaborate with technical teams during application migration and modernization
• Assist with data analysis and validation using SQL
• Support project documentation and stakeholder communication
• Use standard business analysis tools and methodologies to support project goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
• 5+ years of experience working on Government IT projects as a Business Analyst or in related roles
• 5+ years of experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules, processes, and requirements
• 1+ year of hands‑on experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 1+ year of experience working with SQL databases

• IIBA certifications
  , such as:
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
  • CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)
• PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification
• 1+ year of experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office products
