We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our client’s Sales, Retail, and Customer Service teams while driving company growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint. - Lead, coach, and manage all Sales functions, including Outside Sales, Inside Sales (retail and residential), and the Customer Service Team.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company growth and expand market presence.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including sales performance, customer retention, service delivery, and team productivity.
- Oversee customer experience initiatives to ensure consistent, high-quality interactions across all departments.
- Build strong internal partnerships with Dispatch, Operations, Service, and Finance teams to support organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial, agricultural, and residential markets.
- Conduct regular team coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team excellence.
- Manage key customer accounts and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to guide strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community outreach activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for Sales and Customer Service functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in sales, business development, or related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and managing customer-facing operations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications.
- Ability to travel regularly and represent the company professionally.
