Warehouse Services is seeking a dependable and motivated Shift Lead (Training) to support night shift operations at our Woodruff Area Distribution Center. This role is responsible for overseeing floor operations and coordinating employee training, including safety procedures and standard operating processes.

Under appropriate supervision and with latitude for independent judgment, the Shift Lead performs a variety of technical and administrative duties related to material receipt, inspection, storage, and shipping. This position also assists in implementing and coordinating standard warehouse procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Duties require a combination of manual labor, clerical tasks, and data entry skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand, implement, and support completion of the daily operational plan
  • Assist with or lead pre-shift meetings
  • Assign and delegate work to support training and operational needs
  • Provide necessary PPE, equipment, and tools to complete assigned work
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and monitor progress
  • Serve as backup to the Training Supervisor during absences
  • Collect, track, and communicate performance data
  • Maintain and control work documentation
  • Authorize and review Kronos payroll
  • Generate and submit shift reports
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment
  • Perform process audits to maintain quality and compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
