Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Purpose
Serves as team lead and is responsible for coordinating area processes/tasks to include the following: distribution of work, logging access database, processing group changes, responding to inquiries, training new employees, preparing reports/books/contracts.
Location & SchedulingFull‑time position (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, based at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC. After completion of the initial training (up to 90 days), the role may be remote.

What You Will Do- Coordinate and ensure prompt processing of enrollment of new groups, renewals, changes, and cancellations of assigned groups under private business.
- Train and motivate new employees.
- Assign work and monitor work/workload of staff.
- Serve as team lead and expert on account administration.
- Coordinate with marketing, underwriting, claims, benefit files, and other areas to ensure relevant/appropriate group structure/status/benefits/billing.
- Prepare and issue contracts and benefit books.
- Draft custom language as requested and coordinate with printing and graphics for finished products.
- Prepare and issue standard and custom .
- Coordinate with marketing and data control to design custom cards.
- Respond to all inquiries and advise/resolve group and/or member problems.
- Prepare/maintain accurate group files.
- Coordinate and ensure prompt, accurate processing of the billing/payment processes.
- Prepare and submit area reports for management.
Required:
- Associate’s Degree.
- 2 years of job-related work experience.
- 3 years of administrative/clerical support and/or customer service experience.
- 1 year of experience in a membership/billing/accounts area/role (may be concurrent with the above 3 years).
Preferred:
- Prior leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
