Housing Capital Strategist

The Human Capital Strategist provides centralized operational coordination, performance oversight, and strategic analysis for Housing construction and operational initiatives. The role is responsible for overseeing Housing-related construction project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with institutional priorities. This includes anticipating risks, identifying potential delays, and proactively evaluating second- and third-order effects to minimize disruption and protect operational continuity.

They address a critical need for centralized intake, coordination, and oversight of Housing workflows by conducting structured operational analysis of processes, systems, and performance metrics. The Housing Capital Strategist evaluates current-state operations to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and risks that contribute to delays, miscommunication, and inconsistent decision-making. Based on this analysis, the role develops data-informed recommendations and manages the implementation of approved operational improvements.

By strengthening operational effectiveness, improving project accountability, and ensuring strategic foresight in Housing initiatives, this role protects institutional investments and supports the long-term success and sustainability of Housing operations. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Housing.
