The Senior Associate for the Office of Organizational Excellence at the University of South Carolina

actively contributes to planning, development, and administration of organizational improvement initiatives across the university system. The role involves facilitating improvement projects, supporting process optimization efforts, and embedding best practices throughout the institution by providing coaching, training, and ongoing development resources. This collaborative position works with units university-wide to assess improvement opportunities and gather stakeholder feedback through surveys and focus groups.

• Working knowledge of higher education organizational structures or experience in comparable complex organizations
• Experience leading or supporting organizational improvement initiatives including process improvement and resource optimization
• Applied knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods with ability to analyze data
• Strong facilitation, collaboration, and consensus-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines
