About the role:As a Senior Product Manager for PWR fuel, you will be responsible for our global core PWR fuel products. You will lead the product strategy, including managing product lifecycle from development to retirement, and work with commercial, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure Westinghouse delivers competitive and profitable offerings to our customers.
You will share responsibility for some PWR fuel products with another product manager and over time, your assigned product mix may evolve with our needs.
You will report to the Product Management Director and work a mobile/hybrid role based in Hopkins, SC.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and analyze the market, develop product strategy to grow Westinghouse's market share
- Ensure strategy supports Westinghouse both regional and global business objectives
- Articulate Westinghouse value proposition and difference, support account and sales teams to develop leads and opportunities
- Oversee product and platform lifecycle management
- Support technical clarification and Westinghouse value proposition with customer
Work with fuel manufacturing to align product features, industrialization approach, manufacturability, standardization, and reliability - Support prioritization of development programs
- Challenge product cost for reduction
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Technical expertise in nuclear fuel, with specific experience on 17x17 PWR fuel. We also desire commercial or manufacturing experience, especially if you relate this experience to nuclear fuel.
- Experience developing and expressing product strategies, business cases, and value propositions for complex, technical products.
- Comfortable working in an international, matrixed organization.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000 to $180,000 per year.
