Onsite position
The ideal candidate will come from a background in IT or Civil Engineering with a good understanding of Excel and CAD products.

KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Two or Four-year degree in Civil Engineering or construction management
Experience with CAD programs, Excel, and Adobe preferred
Experience with Agtek, Bid to Win, Heavy Bid or similar is a plus
Experience in estimating grading and utilities (typical projects are site development, industrial, commercial development, utilities, mining reclamation, overburden removal and general site work is a plus. Any take off experience a plus.
What You Will Do and/or Learn to DO
Estimating self-performed work and pricing the labor, equipment, and material costs
Gain Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases
Produce accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings
Produce detailed, final contract estimates
Assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate
Identify constructability issues through the estimating process
Identify value-engineering alternatives
Work as a team
Read, write and communicate effectively with Clients, Engineers, etc
Use or learn with Agtek, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, Cad and other takeoff/modeling software
Use or learn to use Bid2
Win (B2W) Heavy Bid (HCSS) or similar
A small amount of travel within SC, NC, and GA may be required
