• Superviseandcoordinategradingandearthworkactivitiesoncivilconstructionprojects.
• Interpretconstructionplans,specifications,andgradestakes.
• Ensuregradingoperationsmeetdesignelevations,slopes,andprojecttolerances.
• Manageateamofequipmentoperators,laborers,and subcontractors.
• Operate GPS-equippedequipmentwhennecessary(Trimbleor Topconexperiencepreferred).
• Scheduledailytasks,coordinate equipment,andtrackprogressagainstschedules.
• Conductsiteinspectionstoensurecompliancewithsafetystandardsandprojectspecifications.
• Communicatewithprojectmanagers,superintendents,andengineerstosolvefieldissues.
• Maintainaccuratetimecards,production reports,anddailylogs.
• Promoteacultureofsafetyandenforcecompanysafetypolicies.

• 3-5years
  ofexperienceingrading/sitework,with2+yearsinaleadershiporforemanrole.
• Strongunderstandingofgradecontrol,soiltypes,and drainage.
• Experienceworkingwith
  GPSmachinecontrolandgradechecking
  .
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretcivilconstructiondrawingsandspecifications.
• Excellentcommunicationandleadershipskills.
• Valid driver’slicense;

• Abilitytoliftupto
  50lbs.andperformphysicallaborwhenneeded.
• Abilitytostand,walk,bend,andoperateequipmentforextendedperiods.
