About the RoleHood Construction is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on projects ranging from healthcare and education to hospitality and historic renovations. You'll be the primary on-site leader — keeping schedules on track, crews aligned, and quality standards high from preconstruction through punch list.
What You'll Do- Direct all daily field operations from preconstruction through punch list
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspection coordination
- Monitor project schedule, control costs, and flag risks early
- Review and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents
- Run site meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams and clients
- Conduct quality control checks and document daily progress in Procore or similar software
- Lead and develop field personnel, managing multi-trade workflows
- Enforce and uphold all jobsite safety requirements
- 5–7 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
- Proven record leading teams through complex, multi-trade scopes
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction sequencing
- Proficiency with Procore, Plan Grid, or comparable construction management platforms
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
