Position Overview
Growing South‑East General Contractor (GC) is seeking highly talented and ambitious Senior Project Engineers to ignite their careers on high‑end large construction projects.
Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 per year.
Company OverviewWe’re a large, well‑established regional General Contractor with a dominant presence across the Southeast. Our core focus is student housing and mid‑to‑high‑rise multifamily developments, typically ranging from $40M to $150M+ in value. This is a high‑volume, repeat‑client environment where speed, precision, and execution matter. Projects are complex, schedules are aggressive, and teams are expected to perform at a high level.

- Assist in project scheduling, phasing plans, and look‑ahead planning
- Track and manage project costs, change orders, and budget impacts
- Support buyout and procurement efforts for key trades
- Drive QA/QC processes and ensure work aligns with plans/specifications
- Maintain strong communication between field operations and office teams
- Assist in project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation
- 4–8+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Experience on student housing, multifamily, or mid/high‑rise projects strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage project documentation and coordination independently
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and logistics
- Proficient with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
- Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast (project‑based assignments)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
