Gallup Design Build is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Estimating & Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in helping bring luxury custom homes from concept to completion by supporting estimating, purchasing, budgeting, and project documentation.

You’ll work closely with our Estimating & Purchasing Manager, Project Managers, and Pre-Construction team to keep projects moving efficiently from estimating through construction.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and assist with detailed project estimates
• Solicit and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Assemble bid packages and maintain current cost databases
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements
• Process owner selections, change orders, and allowance revisions
• Coordinate pricing for project changes and budget updates
• Track committed costs throughout construction
• Maintain accurate project specifications and purchasing documentation
• Support Project Managers with vendor coordination and purchasing requests
• Keep project financial records organized and current
• Ensure construction teams receive complete and accurate handoff documentation

• Minimum 3 years of residential construction estimating experience (required)
• Experience reading residential construction plans and specifications
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials
• Experience preparing quantity takeoffs and project estimates
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, on screen takeoff programs, and construction software
• Ability to communicate professionally with subcontractors, vendors, homeowners, and internal team members
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Estimates completed accurately and on schedule
• Purchase orders issued promptly after approvals
• Change orders and selection revisions processed quickly and accurately
• Vendor pricing tracked and received on time
• Organized project documentation with minimal administrative errors
• Construction teams have the information they need to keep projects moving
