A well-established commercial glass and glazing contractor in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking an experienced Glass Estimator to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of commercial construction projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate estimates and bid proposals for commercial glass and glazing projects
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and general contractors
- Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and project planning efforts
- 3+ years of estimating experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry
- Strong knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, windows, and glazing systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Competitive salary based on experience
