Construction Project Manager

Overview

At Cumming Group, you will work on high‑profile projects in a dynamic environment. As a Project Manager in Columbia, SC, you will develop and manage the project schedule, scope, and cost for a new higher‑education construction project.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equivalent.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and evaluate documents to convey the client’s goals and expectations.
• Develop and communicate action plans that guide the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Re‑evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Organize and maintain the framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents.
• Ensure the project design management follows the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and design standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned; attendance at work during normal business hours.

Education:

BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.

Experience:

5+ years of field experience at the assistant superintendent, superintendent, or project management level in commercial construction.

$88,300.00 – $ per year (base salary only).
