Construction Manager Trainee
Supports the construction management process by assisting with job scheduling, inspecting job sites for safety compliance, completing punch lists and new home orientation tasks, ensuring site cleanliness, assisting with model and inventory maintenance, and addressing service‑related issues.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain job schedules.
- Inspect and enforce job safety requirements.
- Complete punch lists and assist with new home orientation lists.
- Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and assist with model/inventory maintenance.
- Assist with service‑related issues.
- Maintain daily interaction with division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or 0‑2 years of homebuilding/construction experience; construction experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance coverage.
Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours. Must be able to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move or carry equipment in excess of 50 pounds, and occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
