Columbia,SC.Thisroleiscriticalinsupportingprojectsuccessthroughaccuratecostestimating,contract analysis,and quality-focusedprojectexecution.
Theidealcandidateisproactive,analytical,andexperiencedinreadingplans,pricing projects,andcollaboratingwithprojectteamstoensuretimelyandprofitabledelivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepareaccurateandcompetitive
projectcostestimates
fordrywallandceilingsscope - Perform detailed
quantity takeoffs
fromdrawingsandspecifications - Reviewandinterpret
construction documents,contracts,andbidpackages - Priceandmanage
change orders
,includingcostanalysisanddocumentation - Conduct
site inspections
tovalidatescope,identify risks,andsupportestimatingaccuracy - Collaboratewithprojectmanagers,field teams,andsubcontractorsduringpreconstructionandexecutionphases
- Monitorprojectcostsandsupport
budgettrackingandcostcontrol - Assistin
quality control/quality assurance(QC/QA)processestoensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications - Maintainorganizeddocumentationofestimates,proposals,and revisions
- Supportcontinuousimprovementinestimatingprocessesandtools
Required Qualifications
- 2–3yearsofexperience
inestimatingwithindrywall,ceilings,orrelatedconstructiontradespreferred,butnotrequired - Strongexperiencein:
- Projectpricingandcostestimation
- Changeorderpreparationandmanagement
- Siteinspectionsandfieldcoordination
- Contractreviewandinterpretation
- Quality control/qualityassuranceprocesses
- Abilitytoreadandinterpret
architecturalandconstructiondrawings - Strong analytical,problem-solving,andorganizationalskills
- Excellentcommunicationandteamworkabilities
Areasof Familiarity(Preferred Construction Scope Experience )
- Exteriormetalpanelsystems
- Drywallsystemsandassemblies
- Interior framing(metalstudframing)
- Acoustical/soundpanelsystems
- Division
