Civil Laborer
We are seeking two skilled SWPPP Laborers to join our team in performing essential tasks such as hydroseeding, erosion control, laying down hay, shoveling, raking, and installing gabion basins. This role requires experience in operating heavy machinery and working in a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities- Perform hydroseeding and erosion control.
- Lay down hay, shovel, and rake as needed.
- Install gabion basins and other erosion control measures.
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, and articulated dump trucks.
- Work collaboratively with other laborers on site to ensure efficient task completion.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with excavators or dozers (preferably both).
- Experience with articulated dump trucks.
- Ability to fine grade using dozers or excavators.
- Possession of 3rd party certifications for bulldozers, excavators, or articulated haul trucks.
- Demonstrated safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Solar experience is advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to work significant overtime, including weekends.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality is crucial.

Work EnvironmentWork on multiple civil closeout sites in a new construction environment, exposed to varying weather conditions, including hot and humid summers. Expect a work schedule of 50 hours per week from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with breaks. Wear appropriate work clothing and PPE, including hard hats, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, reflective vests, and gloves. Safety is paramount, and strict adherence to safety protocols is required.

This is a contract position based out of Cheraw, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
