As a Guest Services Associate, you will be one of the first people our guests meet and an important part of what makes their visit memorable. Whether you are welcoming a first‑time visitor, helping a family plan their day, or greeting guests during one of our spectacular special events, you will help create the warm and welcoming experience Brookgreen is known for.
Brookgreen Gardens is a nationally recognized sculpture garden, botanical garden, accredited zoo, and National Historic Landmark located across from Huntington Beach State Park. As a mission‑driven nonprofit, we bring together art, nature, history, and wildlife to create meaningful experiences for our guests and community.

- Sell admission tickets and accurately operate point-of-sale systems
- Help guests discover garden features, exhibits, programs, and upcoming events
- Process cash and electronic transactions and balance drawers accurately
- Answer questions and assist guests in making the most of their visit
- Support special events and café operations as needed
- Contribute to Our Brookgreen Culture through teamwork, ownership, and a welcoming approach
- Friendly, professional, and engaging communication skills
- A genuine interest in helping people and creating positive experiences
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Comfort using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
