Dental Assistant II (DA II) - Full Time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour + Benefits
Apex Dental is a patient-focused family dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Take dental impressions and assist with various clinical procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
- Active Dental Assistant II (DA II) certification.
- Current X-Ray certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dental practice management software.
- Front office or scheduling experience.
- Experience in family, cosmetic, or restorative dentistry.
