An entry level engineering technician position focused on supporting Swage Tooling. A hands-on position that involves the use and maintenance of various tools and equipment in support of Swage and other associated tasks as required.
Responsibilities- Supports Swage and Swage Tooling efforts by assembling tooling, performing repairs, facilitating Sales Orders and RMAs, and other tasks as needed.
- Responsible for Swage Tooling work area, ensuring efficient and orderly organization of all tooling, overseeing tooling inventory, proper data input into Oracle and associated electric documentation and proper disposal of materials.
- Collaborates with commercial and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems, as well as analyze tooling needs and demand for future.
- Perform inspections of equipment and prototype/first time parts providing maintenance when necessary.
- Data recording and Oracle Transactions.

- Knowledge of basic micrometers, hand tools, torque wrenches, etc.
- Experience assembling components from product drawings and verbal instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel).
- Light to moderate machining experience preferred.
- Manufacturing and Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- 2-year degree preferredor demonstrate equivalent experience
The physical environment requires the employee to operate various tools and equipment, stand for long periods of time, and lift moderately heavy articles sometimes greater than 50 lbs on a routine basis. Some amount of desk work is required; however, this position is largely hands-on.
