As Senior Architect, you will lead architectural design and provide strategic oversight for municipal and private developer projects at MRB Group, driving both creative excellence and business growth.

• Lead architectural design efforts for complex projects, ensuring high‑quality design solutions that align with client needs and project goals.
• Manage project teams through all phases of design, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate with other design professionals, contractors, and consultants to ensure cohesive project execution.

• Supervise and mentor junior architects, design staff, and technical teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and professional development.
• Develop and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage project workflows, ensuring that design standards, quality control processes, and client expectations are consistently met.

• Cultivate strong relationships with municipal clients, private developers, and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored architectural solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts, progress, and recommendations.

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of MRB Group’s portfolio by cultivating relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Prepare and present proposals, qualifications, and presentations to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for business growth, including marketing initiatives and competitive positioning.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new areas for growth and innovation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Registered Architect with a minimum of 8‑10 post‑licensure years of professional experience, including substantial experience working with municipal clients and private developers.
• 12‑15 years of total proven professional experience in architecture, with a focus on working with municipal clients and private sector developers preferred.
• Proven experience in managing large‑scale architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through all phases of design and project delivery.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, consultants, and internal teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of municipal processes, zoning, permitting, and regulations.
• Business development experience with a track record of successfully securing new projects and building client relationships.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up; familiarity with other design tools is a plus.
• LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications is desirable.
• Project management experience; industry‑recognized Project Management certification(s) is a plus.
