Description
- Assess site characteristics incl. structures and topography.
- Create and refine site planning concepts aligned to goals.
- Research zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regs.
- Collaborate with architecture and civil teams to develop plans.
- Meet with clients/teams to discuss goals and adjust plans.
- Design and review site plans for new and existing developments.
- Communicate effectively in team settings; meet deadlines.
- Mentor and train assigned staff.
- 4+ years in commercial architectural design.
- Bachelor degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Research local zoning ordinances and regulations.
- Read civil drawings, topo, wetlands maps.
- Site planning principles: vehicle circulation and drainage.
- Design and draw site plans.
- Full-time, long-term role.
