Key Responsibilities:

* Develop architectural and engineering designs for commercial, residential, or industrial projects

* Create detailed construction drawings and specifications using advanced CAD/BIM software

* Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure integrated design solutions

* Perform building system analyses and calculations

* Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards

* Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating energy efficiency and environmental considerations

* Review contractor submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)

* Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance

* Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives

* Prepare and present design proposals and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field

* 7+ years of experience in architectural design and engineering

* Professional registration (PE, RA, or both) preferred

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software

* Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods

* Knowledge of building codes and industry standards

* Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED principles

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Strong project management abilities

* Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering

* LEED AP certification

* Experience with parametric design software

* Knowledge of construction cost estimation

* Familiarity with energy modeling software

* Experience in specific building types (healthcare, education, etc.)

Technical

Skills:

* Proficient in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD)

* 3D modeling and visualization tools (Sketch Up, 3ds Max)

* Energy analysis software

* Microsoft Office Suite

* Project management software
