Qualifications

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active South Carolina Medical License
SC Controlled Substance License
Active DEA

Assignment Details

24-hour call coverage
APP covers clinic; physician expected to assist in clinic for emergent or complex cases as needed
Daily inpatient rounding (including weekends)
- Average: 1-3 inpatients/day
Average 1-3 deliveries/day
2-4 NSTs/observations daily
4 LDR beds
ED consults for OB/GYN patients as needed
No inpatient midlevel support
Patient age range: 15-70
Must be comfortable with:
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean deliveries
- Independent practice in a rural setting
Circumcisions not required (handled by Pediatrics)
