Position Overview

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists are encouraged to consider an available full‑time position with Liberty Healthcare at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia, South Carolina.

The William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute provides outstanding care to children and adolescents who are experiencing mental illness.

The Institute operates under the South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and selected Psychiatrists there work through a long‑term collaborative partnership with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.

In this role you will focus on providing high quality inpatient assessment and treatment to a caseload of eleven children and adolescent clients while supporting their families.

You will practice in a mission-driven setting and work in collaboration with a talented and dedicated multidisciplinary team.

• $315,000 per year
• 43 weekdays off annually
• Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours
• No nights, no weekends, and no after‑hour calls

If you live outside of the area, Liberty Healthcare can assist you with relocation, and if you’re not currently licensed in South Carolina, Liberty can help you with that too.

• Board Certification and/or fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• South Carolina medical license (or willingness to apply)
